Titan Farms extends peach season through partnership

Ridge Spring, S.C.-based Titan Farms says a collaboration with the Borquez family in the Mexican state of Sonora will bring early access to the market with the first peaches harvested in the Northern Hemisphere.

The partnership will lengthen Titan Farms’ peach season and offer consumers a wider range of high-quality peaches, according to a news release. 

Titan Farms said the Borquez family carries multigenerational farming expertise.

Led by Luis Borquez and his sons, the Borquez family is renowned for a commitment to growing and packing “exceptional peaches, showcasing unparalleled flavor profiles and quality,” the release said. Titan Farms says the partnership introduces exclusive peaches from the unique microclimate and soils of Caborca, Mexico.

“This collaboration with the Borquez family marks a significant milestone for Titan Farms as we strive to meet consumer demand for fresh, delicious peaches through an extended season,” Titan Farms President and CEO Chalmers Carr said in the release. “With early access to the market and our commitment to quality, we are excited to continue delivering the finest peaches to our customers.”

The release said that peaches from Oasis Farms and the Borquez family will be available in various pack styles, including:

  • 18-pound two-layer tray.
  • 2-pound bag — Master Pack: 10/2.
  • 3-pound clamshell — Master Pack: 6/3.
  • 20-pound volume fill.
