WATSONVILLE, CA – Having a year-round supply of berries is essential for a retailer. Shoppers will always want to include berries in their baskets no matter the time of year, so having a supply-side partner you can trust is paramount. California Giant Berry Farms continues to prove its might as a berry supplier, and I caught up with the team just before they head down to Orlando, Florida, for International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show.

“We will showcase our offering of high-quality strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Unique to IFPA, we will focus on our year-round supply of sustainably grown fresh berries that represent the highest standards for quality, consistency, and smiles from the lens of our 2022 Happiness Harvested campaign,” Kyla Oberman, Director of Marketing, remarked.

The grower’s Happiness Harvested campaign seeks to tell the story of the hard work that goes into bringing berries to the table, and the smiles that fresh berries bring to consumers, retailers, foodservice, and beyond.

“We’re looking to shed light on our dedicated grower-partners, hardworking harvest crews, and the California Giant family—the people passionate about delivering the best berries—who are often behind-the-scenes,” Kyla told me.

With a vision to provide high-quality berries in the most sustainable way, California Giant is excited to share with industry members the depth of its product portfolio.

“Our sales, marketing, product, and packaging representatives look forward to connecting with new and existing contacts while sharing our dedication to stellar service and exceptionally high-quality berries,” Kyla noted.
