ORLANDO, FL – From fresh guacamole to avocado toast, consumers cannot get enough of the avocado category. Exploring an advantageous growing region, we recently tapped in with the Colombia Avocado Board (CAB).

“Colombia started exporting avocados to the U.S. about two years ago, and we’re focused on quality and sustainability,” shares Manuel Michel, Managing Director for the Colombia Avocado Board, sharing just a few reasons consumers love Colombian avocados.

Opportunities are ramping up for this segment of the industry, as the coming months bring vital chances to promote Colombia-grown avocados.

“The peak of the season is from October to February, specifically, but Colombia also offers avocados throughout the year,” Manuel continues.
