Agronometrics is pleased to announce its participation in the workshop “Reducing Food Loss and Waste: Dual Impact Actions to Address Climate Change and Improve Nutrition,” in Aspen, Colorado on June 6th. We delivered a talk titled “Blueberries as a Case Study: Improved Measurement of FLW in the Supply Chain using Trade Data and Analytics,” where we delved into innovative methods for quantifying food loss and waste (FLW) and provided actionable recommendations to address key data collection gaps in the context of global blueberry trade data.

The workshop was organized by the Aspen Global Change Institute (AGCI). This event focused on strategies to mitigate food loss and waste, aiming to simultaneously tackle climate change and enhance nutritional outcomes. Details of the workshop can be reviewed on the AGCI website.
